G. Lewis Veneers – Dr. Lewis’ No-Prep Porcelain Veneers – The Woodlands, Houston
What Are G. Lewis Veneers?G. Lewis Veneers are Dr. Lewis’ specially designed no-prep porcelain veneers. The veneers are about the size of a contact lens and are thin enough to fit on the tooth without necessitating the removal of natural tooth structure. They are made of lustrous, ultra-thin yet durable porcelain that looks amazingly natural. Dr. Lewis’ artistry with these no-prep porcelain veneers attracts patients from The Woodlands, Houston, and other Texas communities, and even from all over the world, seeking advanced cosmetic dentistry. Lewis Veneers are designed for durability, superior aesthetic results, and two-visit smile makeovers. G. Lewis Veneers provide many of the same benefits as porcelain veneers: they do not require the time commitment of Invisalign®, and, unlike teeth bleached with teeth whitening, veneers do not become discolored over time.
However, Dr. Lewis recommends G. Lewis Veneers instead of traditional veneers whenever possible, since they are superior, in many ways, to both traditional veneers and other types of no-prep porcelain veneers. Dr. Lewis chose ultra-thin, highly-translucent porcelain from which to craft the veneers. Therefore, the tooth does not need to be reduced to accommodate the veneer, and the veneers do not add extra bulk to the teeth. Placement of G. Lewis Veneers is much more comfortable than placement of traditional porcelain veneers. [ back to top ] Am I a Candidate for G. Lewis Veneers?Although Dr. Lewis prefers to use the G. Lewis Veneers when possible, traditional porcelain veneers are the best option for some patients. If there are dark stains on the teeth, the thin porcelain used in G. Lewis Veneers may not adequately conceal the discoloration. For patients whose teeth protrude, it may be necessary to reduce the teeth and place traditional veneers, in order to avoid a bulky appearance. During your consultation, Dr. Lewis will determine which type of porcelain veneers will work best for you. Contact Our OfficeIf you would like more information on having your smile made over with G.
